A cherished picnic spot 02 kms away from Tehsil Headquarters Keller, Zampathri is an enchanting region with abundant wildlife surrounded by dense forests and gazed upon by the snow clear mountain peaks. It will serve as a base camp for the Gaddar Medow. This Meadow is largest plain in the valley of Kashmir in terms of area length and breadth. Besides the famous river Roomshi flows on the edge of this meadow which adds to its beauty. This meadow is suitable for paragliding and camping. It’s full potential has not been tapped till date. The beautiful meadows such as; Gaddar, Hapatnard, Chotimarg, Ringward falls in this picnic spot. Zamprathri village mostly dmominated by Pahri and Gujjars and Pastu. The opening of Tourist destinations will benefit all the stakeholders especially the ST poor local populations. Their Khotas after renovations shall be designed as guest house. Due to the lack of basic infrastructure like pathways, toilet blocks and residential accommodation, tourists are hesitant to travel this place. For the development of requisite infrastructure in the village one crore in the first instance is proposed for the development of basic infrastructure in the village.
