It is located at a distance of about 18 Km from Teshsil headquarter Bhadarwah. Basti village is located on Bhadarwah-Bani-Basholi road. The village has lush green surroundings with fresh water stream. The area has tremendous tourism potential for eco-tourism, mountaineering, trekking, and natural walks. The village can be developed as base camp for trekking to Kailash, Chattergala, Gurdanda and Seoj meadow etc. The place is already quite popular and large number of people visit the area in summers.
