Village Batote is about 10 kms from Bhadarwah town. on Bhadarwah-Jai road. The village is covered with dense forest of deodar and kail. The village is ideal for ecotourism and is also culturally rich for dark forest trekking. The Bhadarwah development Authority has already develop a Herbal Park in the village and Forest Department has developed forest nursery in the village. The place has scope of trekking towards Subar Dhar, Devi Dhar etc.
