Plahi (Purthu) village is located in Bashohli Tehsil of Kathua district . It is situated 1km away from sub-district headquarter Basohli and 80km away from district headquarter Kathua. Purthu is famous tourist spot. The location is similar to that of the land of beaches of Goa and is called as Mini Goa. The beautiful beach was formed due to the backwaters of Ranjeet Sagar Dam.
